Eligibility

  • Must have coached at the school for at least one year prior to being nominated
  • Cannot be named ITA Coach of the Year for more than two consecutive years

Criteria

  • Must include (in the nomination form): Sportsmanship of nominee and players, team performance during the current year, team performance during entire coaching career, past honors and contributions made to tennis

Eligibility 

  • Must have been the assistant coach at the school for at least one year prior to being nominated
  • Must be nominated by Head Coach or athletic department staff
  • Cannot be named ITA Assistant Coach of the Year for more than two consecutive years

Criteria 

  • Must include (in the nomination form): Sportsmanship of nominee and players, team performance during the current year, team performance during entire coaching career, past honors, and contributions made to tennis

Eligibility

  • A junior, senior, or graduate student (if applicable) who has been enrolled at his/her school at least one full year prior to the present school year
  • Only one player per team may be recommended by his/her coach
  • A player may only be nominated once in his/her career

Criteria

  • The player has exhibited outstanding leadership, as well as scholastic, extracurricular and tennis achievements.
  • The coach must include (in the nomination form): the nominee’s complete tennis career playing accomplishments, cumulative singles and doubles collegiate records, scholastic and extracurricular achievements: GPA, scholastic honors, memberships in honorary societies, and any important extra-curricular achievements and honors
  • Humanitarian concern and accomplishments: Enclose a supporting letter FROM THE NOMINEE that summarizes his/her accomplishments and personal philosophy as they relate to his/her involvement in activities that help others.

Eligibility

  • A junior, senior, or graduate student (if applicable) who has been enrolled at his/her school at least one full year prior to the present school year
  • Only one player per team may be recommended by his/her coach

Criteria 

  • The player displays inspiring dedication and commitment to her team, which has enhanced the team’s performance and exemplified the spirit of college tennis.
  • The coach must include (in the nomination form): the nominee’s complete tennis career playing accomplishments, cumulative singles and doubles collegiate records, scholastic and extracurricular achievements: GPA, scholastic honors, memberships in honorary societies, and any important extra-curricular achievements and honors
  • Humanitarian concern and accomplishments: Enclose a supporting letter FROM THE NOMINEE that summarizes her accomplishments and personal philosophy as they relate to his/her involvement in activities that help others.

Eligibility

  • A senior or graduate student (if applicable) who has been enrolled at his/her school at least one full year prior to the present school year
  • A player may only receive this award once during his/her collegiate career. 
  • The regional winner should be nationally or regionally ranked during senior year.
  • The national award winner should be ranked in the top 50 players in the ITA National Rankings or in the top 10 regionally during senior year.

Criteria

  • A player who has improved the most over the course of his/her collegiate career
  • A player must have contributed the most to his/her team in leadership, sportsmanship, and performance.
  • The coach must include (in the nomination form): the player’s win/loss record, notable performances/victories, awards throughout his/her career, notes related to character, and sportsmanship on/off the court. The statement should highlight the improvement made throughout his/her career.

Eligibility

  • A player competing in his/her first year of college tennis.
  • The regional award nominee should be regionally ranked.
  • The national award winner should be ranked in the top 50 players in the ITA National Rankings or in the top 10 regionally during first/freshman year.

Criteria

  • The player should have contributed the most to their team in areas of sportsmanship, and performance during the year.
  • The coach must include (in the nomination form): the player’s win/loss record, notable performances/victories, awards throughout his/her career, notes related to character, and sportsmanship on/off the court.

Eligibility

  • A senior or graduate student (if applicable) in their last year of athletic eligibility
  • The player may only receive this award once during his/her collegiate career.
  • The regional award winner should be one of the top nationally-ranked players in the region.
  • The national award winner should be ranked in the top 50 players in the ITA National Rankings or in the top 10 regionally during senior year.

Criteria 

  • A player who has had an extraordinary senior year
  • The player must have contributed the most to his/her team in leadership, sportsmanship, and overall performance
  • The coach must include (in the nomination form): the player’s win/loss record, notable performances/victories, awards throughout his/her career, notes related to character, and sportsmanship on/off the court. 

Eligibility

  • Minimum of 5 hours of community service required to nominate.

Criteria

  • Should be a team that gives back to their campus or their community through tennis and non-tennis pathways
  • Coaches must include (in the nomination form): a detailed statement including their team’s activities, organizations partnered with, and the total team hours served during the year. *If players completed hours of service individually, total all hours and submit the number of hours collectively as a team.

Nominations must be received no later than Wednesday, May 4th (12 pm MST). The nomination forms will close on Wednesday, May 4th (12 pm MST) and we will not accept late submissions for any reason.
