ITA/USTA MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Application Deadline - June 12th
Limited Number of Spots Available

Program Overview
The ITA in partnership with the USTA created the Mentorship Program in 2020 to help develop and educate the next generation of college coaches. The year-long program matches fifteen selected mentees with experienced current and retired Head Coach mentors from all divisions and backgrounds. The pairs communicate regularly throughout the year and build strong relationships and systems of support.
2022-23 marks the third year of the program, which will kick off with a virtual orientation involving all of the mentees and mentors followed by virtual educational opportunities throughout the year featuring outside guests and experts who will present on topics most relevant to the mentees. The program will culminate with the new addition of a required in-person workshop for all of the mentees at the ITA National Convention in May of 2023 at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, FL. Mentees will be provided a $500 travel stipend and receive free registration to the convention from the ITA.
